Kya is the daughter of our dear friends Kris & Shawn. She is 2 months older than Maddie. We have worked each step together and requested that, if possible, our girls be from the same area in China. Our agency worked with China and made that happen! Both girls are in foster care and being supervised by the same orphanage in Yiyang, Jiangxi. Yet another answered prayer!!

Sweet Maddie ~ We are so in love with you and havebeen since we started this journey in February 2005 - long before you were even born. You have the most wonderful friends and extended family waiting for you in the U.S. We cannot wait to bring you home and share you with them.

We pray that you are surrounded by love every day and thank God for the people who watch over you and nurture you until we can bring you home.

These pages were written to serve two purposes. First, for our family and friends who have been there for us in every way. This is our way of keeping them in the loop on what's happening. Second, we hope one day to be able to share these pages with Madeline so that she may know the extent of the love of her family and friends.
